Very nice! Is SolusOS based on Ubuntu or a Red-Hat distro?

AARRRGGHHHH WHY MARC, just when I am becoming comfy in xfce you post this. Now I just have to try it. Dammit!

Excellent shot btw. Some questions since I have you here (you made me want to try this so consider this repentance :P): Does it have elementary nautilus by default? What version of shotwell and gthumb are in its repos? And does it have debian-backports enabled?

Ok so first thank you for the kudos. Now to your questions:

1: Does it have elementary nautilus by default? Yes
2: What version of shotwell and gthumb are in its repos? Shotwell 0.6.1/ gthumb 2.11.5
3: does it have debian-backports enabled? Yes

I think that was all your questions. ;-) Let me knwo if you have any others my friend. :-)

Nah that's all of them. The versions of those programs show me that it's still debian stable alright. If it has the backports enabled then you can install the 3.2.0 bpo kernel. Much better than the 3.0.0 even with bfs.

I may install the newer kernel then. Thanks for the heads up on that. :-)

The wall and conky combination is loooovely :D I'd probably lose the power button though, when taking the screenshot :P I took a brief look at the distro's website, and it says you can play the latest 3D games.. So does it have Wine installed and configured?

:D If you ever try it, could you report back how it works? I have two games that are supposedly platinum Wine material, but I never managed to get them working, so I'm interested in this one, maybe they have done some magic to it :P
